The Mozart Requiem stands as one of the finest pieces ever written. The Basilica’s special Mozart connection is via Mozart’s librettist, Lorenzo da Ponte, who had his funeral here in 1838. The concert includes Stravinsky’s Mass and a world-premiere of Harris’ Three Sacred Pieces.
